"I recently stayed at the Reverb by Hard Rock Atlanta and overall had a decent experience with a few frustrations. The room itself was modern, comfortable, and mostly clean. The hotel has a really cool vibe and aesthetic, and I appreciated the added security measures requiring room keys to access certain floors. I understand the intention is safety, although it did make moving around the hotel late at night a little inconvenient at times. There were a few downsides during our stay. We noticed what appeared to be a small blood stain on one of the pillowcases. I can’t fully confirm where it came from, but it definitely wasn’t something you want to see when settling into a room. The biggest issue was customer service. Some staff members were helpful, but others came across as dismissive or unnecessarily rude, especially regarding replacement room keys. One security guard near the elevators in particular handled a situation very poorly. I was actively speaking with another staff member when she abruptly interrupted instead of simply saying “excuse me” professionally. The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and left a bad impression. Ironically, once it was clear we were hotel guests, the tone completely changed. Parking was also more difficult than expected. Paying $45 per night for self-parking felt excessive, especially considering how inconvenient the process was. Transporting luggage from the garage to the room was confusing and cumbersome, and there wasn’t much guid"

"My room had an odd smell to it, like mildew or something and there was leftover debris from the last guests in the sink. second elevator was broken so 5 minute wait for elevators. other than that it was cool, did what it needed to do for the 24 hours i was in atlanta."

"My experience at The Starling Midtown was disappointing. From check-in, the staff was unfriendly; we didn’t even receive a simple “good morning,” something expected at a hotel of this level. The elevators were another issue: only two were working, causing long waits and overcrowding. Cleanliness was also lacking. The carpets in the lobby and breakfast area looked dirty, giving the hotel a poor overall impression. The pool was much smaller than shown in the photos, which felt misleading. In addition, the rooms had an unpleasant gasoline-like smell, and the amenities were limited for the price. Overall, for what this hotel charges, there are much better options in Atlanta. I would not recommend staying here again."
