“Truly an excellent choice. Having stayed at over 14 different locations around South Africa this last month this was refreshing. The chalets was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were gutted to stay just one night as we did not want to leave. We were urged to stay at the ATKV but decided to try this. True, the pool and hot (ish?) pool is small but the zebra’s, giraffes and other animals wandering through the chalets made up for any of it. It was also quiet and relaxing. So if you……

“Despite the beautiful location surrounded by majestic mountains, the accomodations were unfortunately sub standard. They are poorly insulated metal trailer like houses with no proper heating. There is a propane burner in the living room that provides some heat in the main room but not in the bedrooms. Even if you do run it, you have to keep the windows open to avoid dying from carbon monoxide. In the morning it was so cold you could see your breath. Many things in the house were falling apart.……
