Mille Lacs sugar sand retreat

Great place to get away. Our family cabin has been fully updated to meet the needs of our guests and family. Main floor is a open floor plan with beautiful views of lake and awesome screened in porch with fire table. Basement is setup with two bedrooms and four beds with a walkout to the lake. Every room has great views to the lake and home has a wrap around deck with plenty of space to enjoy. Our shoreline is as nice as they come on Mille Lacs- great swimming and gradual slope with no weeds or rocks. Great place to have a winter get away! Snowmobile right from the front yard-miles of trails off or on the lake. Pull the portable fish House out to a premier Minnesota lake. If you chose to explore the area, or just hang out and relax, you won't be disappointed. We have 3 bedrooms, first one has 2 twin beds, second has 2 double beds and the third one has 1 queen size bed.

Good guys weekend.

The place was clean, check in was easy and it was nice to get away for a few days. The accommodations were perfect but I wish there were some better restaurants around.

Fun time, neat spot

shallow sandy beach with no rocks or weeds was awesome for kids. If you want a beach on a big lake that will make the waves tolerable for children, this is a great option.

Milacs lake

I would love to thank the owner for the opportunity to stay at there home. Looking forward to staying there again next year. The scenic view and sound of the waves coming into shore is what makes vacations like ours awesome.

What a lovely and up-to-date cabin. Very clean, wonderful beach, porch, and deck. So many games and water toys too! We loved the view and kayaking. Everything was very neat and organized. Would definitely stay again.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here as we are long distance and wanted a nice place to get away. Great views, the house had everything we needed and the kyaks were an added bonus we were not expecting. Will return again!

Great family stay for relaxing and swimming.

A sandy beach and shallow water near shore were great for swimming and playing with our small children. The home was nicely equipped for guests, with many amenities for relaxing and enjoying the water. Our midweek visit was quiet, and sheltering trees lined most of the property for a nice private stay. We stayed in and made use of the clean kitchen and laundry facilities.

Cabin by the lake

We had a great time at the cabin! Beautiful property and very well kept. The weather didn’t cooperate but we still had a great time. That view from the upstairs was amazing! Everything in the cabin that you would need. Quick response from the hosts. Would highly recommend! Our teenage son enjoyed the kayaks and fishing from the dock

Awesome experience!

I rented this lake house for a few days for a get away for me and some friends and had a great time! The house is very clean and well stocked. The access to the lake was perfect and the water was shallow so you might need to go out a bit to get a good swimming depth. Also made use of the kayaks which was super fun! The outdoor sitting area was perfect for our game nights! Wish we had longer to make use of the fire pit, but just an excuse to come back in the future! Overall was very pleased and would love to come back at some point!

Perfect Cabin Weekend!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. The house is organized and very clean. It is stocked with everything you could ever need (cooking supplies, towels, games). We both loved to sit out on the dock, listen to the lapping water, and watch the sunset. I did not notice any weeds in the lake and the sandy beach is nicely kept making it a great swimming spot. Even though the neighbors were home during our stay, the property still felt private. We had such a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

Girl’s Weekend Getaway

Absolutely amazing. Would stay here again hands down! We saw 2 families of geese and 2 bald eagles right off the deck! Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing. I wish 4.75 was an option for overall rating, the reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is only because a set of stairs down to the lake would really be ideal.. it’s quite the hill when carrying chairs up and down with the sand. Other than that 5 out of 5!! Thank you so much!

Mom’s getaway

Had a mental health retreat with a fellow mother. It was tranquil and just where we needed to be. Noticed lights in the garage were on our first night there and later found out through the owner that someone was stopping by in the garage. It was communicated the day it occurred, but me being in vacation mode did not look at my phone until much later. As a woman it just gave me an uneasy feeling. With that said, I would go back and bring my family as it was very family oriented.

Beautiful location with amazing views

A nice cabin on a beautiful lake. We stayed there with kids who very much enjoyed the sandy beach and shallow waters. Perfect, fun and safe for little kids. Cabin is well equipped with kitchen items, grill, linens, soap, etc. The 3 season porch was a life saver from the mosquitos. Allowed us to be outside and enjoy the view. Kayaks were fun to just get on the lake and paddle along the beach. Recommend getting your own water toys. Luckily we packed some. Internet can be slow so plan ahead if you have a need to be online or stream movies for the kids on a rainy day. Neighbors are very friendly and awesome. Overall, great vacation and would love to go back again.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This was exactly what our family needed. A nice quiet retreat where we could relax, but still have plenty to do at the same time. Sand toys, kayaks, yard games, board games, etc. As our son(8) put it, just feeling the waves wash over your feet on the large sandy beach was something he looked forward to every morning. The water was warm, sandy bottom and stayed around 3-4 ft deep past the end of the dock. Our daughter(4) wanted to stay forever. We saw many different kinds of birds including bald eagles. We packed extra things like laundry detergent, toys, and towels but didn’t need it because the house has everything you would need. Convenience store 5 minutes away was stocked like a small grocery store for all the food items you may have forgot. This place exceeded our expectations and we are planning on booking for next year.
