Not ideal for international guests

The house was terrific - clean, spacious. The issue we encountered was the lack of anything in the kitchen beyond non-consumables (pots, pans, china etc). Although we can live with bringing our own towels, it was next to impossible to make meals because nothing was left behind. Every spice every condiment dish washing liquid hand soap all had to be bought. Not ideal for a shorter stay It was unclear at the time of booking that we had to indicate a preference - close to the main canal or not. When I raised the issue we were given the opportunity to switch houses. Surprised that a 2 bedroom was the same price as a four bedroom. Not sure what to think of that.

Geen schreeuwend groot park. Kajaks, sup’s en E-sloep te huur bij de boerderij buren. Akkrum is en blijft een heel leuk dorp waar je alles kan krijgen.

Prachtig gelegen aan het grote vaarwater. Het mooie uitzicht vanuit de woning, maar ook op de landerijen en boerderijen aan de achterkant en zijkant van het park. Het gezellige en gemoedelijke dorpje Akkrum. Het mooie huisje op een unieke plaats, op een niet al te grootschalig park. Het makkelijk huren van een schitterende en ruime 8 persoons E-sloep op 3 minuten lopen. En de rust. Geen geluid van voorbijrazende auto ‘s. Wel 1 x op vrijdagavond harde feestmuziek vanuit of nabij een woning op het park, maar dat stopte om 22.00 uur. We komen elk jaar en het voelt voor ons als “thuiskomen”.
