  • Nahil 7 is a stunning 3 BR 3 BA penthouse located on the fourth floor of Nahil Condominiums. Nahil is one of Akumal’s newest buildings; nestled on the quiet edge of Half Moon Bay’s pristine beach while still being only a short walk from many of the local restaurants and boutiques. This location is excellent for views and convenience.

    The condo sleeps a maximum of 6 adults and 5 children.

    Not only is Nahil 7 very well located, but it is phenomenal from the inside as well. Contemporary and modern, this unit tastefully brings the beauty of the Caribbean inside through textiles, art, three terraces, and massive floor to ceiling windows that expand across the home.

    The kitchen is beautiful with its unique jungle wood cabinetry. It is highly functional, and equipped with new stainless steel appliances including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. Off of the kitchen, the dining area will comfortably seat six people. The living area features a chic and comfortable white couch, a 55” Smart TV, and access to the unit's third terrace. The third terrace features an additional six person seating area, as well as two designer lounge chairs for enjoying the sunshine.

    Nahil 7 has truly gone above and beyond in the amenities it offers. In addition to the wonderful place to call home, Nahil 7 offers a centralized cooling system with four thermostats, and privacy blinds available in every room. The building is only a short walk from some of our local restaurants like La Lunita or La Buena Vida and boutiques filled with treasures made by local artisans.

Akumal dream condo

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. It’s exactly as described in the listing; the pictures were accurate. The location in Akumal is perfect - close though to restaurants and shops to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We loved snorkeling in Half Moon Bay, directly out from the condo and eating dinner at delicious restaurants nearby. We’ll be back!

Quiet paradise

Great complex with friendly staff. Unit 7 is ideal! The quiet, quaint neighborhood of Akumal is just the spot to relax with all amenities within a short distance! Snorkeling out front in half moon bay was fun. The water is super warm. We would definitely come back.

This is our third year at Nahil #7 which is a good condo on the third floor. The condo needed some repairs - AC leaking in bathroom and living room, dishwasher didn't work, needs more pots & pans, and elevator didn't work for 70% of time.

The place does need to be refresh a little; the dishwasher was not working and has not been working for months, the closet for the washer/dryer (directly in front of you when you come in) has no door and is an eyesore. The various pieces of arts on the walls is old, weathered and damaged.

We stayed with our two adult children and it was great that we all had our own room, bathroom and terrace! It was a bonus to have the apartment cleaned daily, unlimited bottled water and snorkel equipment. You can snorkel right in front of the condo and the ref is beautiful, we even saw a turtle. Great restaurants within walking distance and the Akumal dive shop has terrific excursions; we went on the sunset cruise and swam with the turtles. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Nahil #7 and hope to visit again!

The grounds are nicely maintained and people were friendly. Condo size was great for a family of five. Hot water was suspect for showers. Sometimes there, sometime not. Dishwasher broken as noted in others reviews. Perhaps just remove ;) good location to soak in the sun if you don’t want to pay resort prices.

It was very nice. The swimming pool and beach area are wonderful. The staff work very hard to maintain it and it shows. It is not close to the main area of Akumal but there are a few restaurants and a small store within walking distance. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get into town. Although the golf cart was not in great shape, it served its purpose. This will be the place we stay with every trip to Akumal.

Nice Stay

Despite the intermittent access to utilities and the daytime sound of construction the place was weathered but nice. The fact that the elevator didn’t work while the power was off caused us to have to hike up and down the three flight of stairs which caused my spouses hip to flair up in pain from a recent hip replacement. However the lack of access to water the last day of our stay was very disconcerting. We were unable to shower or even wash up and the toilet was gross due to inability to flush. Not the best way to end a stay! Were it not for the inconsistencies it would have probably been a Great stay.

Great 3 bedroom condo

The condo is situated pretty far back in the Akumal community, making it feel pretty safe. The view of the ocean is amazing. Everything has been carefully cleaned. We met the cleaning lady, and she was very nice and thorough. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and utinsels. We prepared most of our meals and had all the basics we needed. The bathrooms were very clean the the water was warm. There is a washer/dryer that worked very well; we did a couple of loads of laundry on our last day before we packed all our swimming suits into a locked suitcase. The pool was beautiful and the beach was too. The entry is pretty rocky, so don’t expect smooth white sand as far as the eye can see, but we had no trouble getting the kids in the water. The sargasm washing up on the shore was much less on our beach than some that are further south that we could see from the balcony. We snorkeled and saw a few turtles and a lot of fish. We loved the stay and would like to go back sometime and would not hesitate to recommend this location.

Life jackets for the kiddos, pack n play was available and set up for us when we arrived, carbon monoxide detector is in the unit for those anxious people like myself. The condos kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for cooking your own meal however the local restaurants are delicious. We had one small issue with the water heater not supplying enough hot water for even a quick shower. I alerted the office and within 2 hours, someone was there and fixed it all while being very respectful and quiet since our little kids were napping at the time. Parking is available right out front, elevator on site. Daily housekeeping is available. Don't miss this place! I would definitely recommend Nahil #7.

When we first arrived, I felt like the condo needed some updating and small things like the lamps being a bit flimsy or not working or scuffs on the wall were a bit annoying. But the place was very clean and spacious. By day two, none of those small details bothered us at all. The location of the condo was perfect for us. It was so nice to look right out onto the beach and ocean while sitting by the pool. It felt very private and was quiet (even for spring break!)The breeze from the ocean really cooled us down each day and no sargassum in front of this condo. We were able to walk to 1-2 yummy restaurants and to a cenote. We would either bike into town or drove our car (seemed a bit far to walk- but can be done). We were able to experience some amazing snorkeling (even saw a turtle) right from the beach out front of the condo.The staff was very friendly, we had cleaning service every day and we felt safe at all times. I would recommend this place for sure!

Great place to unwind, take walks and watch the ocean.

Family of 7adults enjoyed the bright decor, walks, friendly people and amazing view. The beach is not vast nor that walk friendly- the streets are great. We love to walk so opted out of golf cart. Bring water shoes for rough ocean floor. Condo was clean and efficient. Linens (including beach towels) were clean except for one stained towel. Bed comfort was fine. No dishwasher but we ate out. We patroned the restaurants w/in walking distance - tasty although a bit slow (it was holiday). Water dispenser provided was key. Unit layout was great w/enough space to relax, play games, enjoy the balconies etc. Maid service came every other day & washed towels in unit’s machine. Communication w/concierge was easy and mostly quick -so appreciated! One complaint: poor water pressure & lack of hot water. Our showers were short- we ALWAYS ran out of hot water. Used transport via concierge and arranged to stop and get snacks/drinks for fee. We know this area and would have chosen diff. The Ceadeau, was small, over picked. Outs drivers were courteous/patient. Taxis are WAY overpriced. We didn’t rent a car, but very doable. We snorkeled in the bay out front. Bought masks/snorkels at bodega for 30. Reserve cash to tip maid and maintenance. We love you Mexico!

Amazing Beach Front Home for Quiet Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: North Akumal neighborhood is so adorable. Great walkable location to Yal Ku cenote for snorkeling. Plus if you have or rent gear (some kid stuff available in the unit) you can snorkel right in front of the property. The entrance to the water is very "rocky" (it's coral so it will hurt your feet without water shoes) but it's a great place to swim and be on the water if you can get past that. Unit 7 was amazing, top floor with incredible views of the ocean. The photos don't even do it the justice it deserves honestly. My kids loved the place. Daily maid service was great. AC was cool, kitchen was nice. We stopped in Playa Del Carmen for groceries on the way down from cancun as Akumal is a very small town with limited groceries available. Plenty of places to eat out in walking distance that are amazing though if cooking isn't your thing! Great bar on the beach - La Buena Vida, with great food and drinks. Great breakfast/lunch spot right across the drive (toward yal ku). And if you're willing to walk a bit farther there is an amazing fish spot across from the dive center with the BEST wait staff. (also great ice cream spot thats open relatively late, 9p ish i think, and souvenir shops and an italian place over there which we didn't try but was always busy). The beach near the dive shop isn't the best for a traditional beach day. If you're looking for that (soft sand and chairs and swimming in waves) i'd recommend driving down to tulum for a day to find a beach club to crash. the beach in front of the apartment is also an amazing spot to sit and listen to the waves and read. super quiet and beautiful, comfy chairs. gorgeous pool that the staff maintained every day to cool off if you don't love the coral floor. If you have animal lovers with you the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary tour is a MUST. Amazing staff and best animals and great education about conservation and rescue in the area. My kids are still talking about the (non-exploitive) monkey snuggling!

The dishwasher needs to be cleaned in order to clean the dishes, but since the hot water is short, the dishes don't get cleaned.

Beds are comfortable, really nice daily maid service, huge white vinyl couch, small bathrooms, nicely outfitted kitchen. Whole unit needs a repaint. Very scuffed walls. Master bathroom ceiling in rough shape. Has had leaks and needs to be completely replaced. We used the two bicycles which are really helpful to get into the village. They are in tough shape as well. Tires flat and we found some maintenance staff to help us inflate tires. Would be helpful if there was info in the room as to which bicycles belong to the unit. Pool area is lovely. Tiny partial sandy area on the beach in front to enter water (very rocky) to access snorkeling.

Even better than it looks

This is the place to stay. The apartment is even nicer and cleaner than the pictures. The building is very clean. Right in front of the condos was the clearest part of the beach in terms of seaweed just naturally l which was otherwise everywhere. Staff rake the beach several times a day. The daily housekeeping was so nice to have. They provide water but no spices etc so you will need oils and salt pepper etc. The heat and humidity are rough on buildings and that was really hard to tell with the terrific Maintenence. Each bedroom has a beautiful view and it’s own bathroom!
