"If you’re looking for a self contained retreat experience, this property is awesome. Having its own private beach is a plus for that. It’s an older property but beautifully maintained. If you want to venture off the property, though, that’s a different story. It’s isolated, miles removed from the Kuta Beach scene. In my eye, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, mind you. I found Kuta Beach to be overrun with locals on the weekend and largely deserted during the week. Didn’t like the aggressiveness of the hawkers either. So I was content to stay at the Novotel and relax most of the time. "

I tried their sunset cruise and it was a gem to find a perfect hidden spot nearby the property. They offer two distinctive pools, a 50-meter lagoon pool and another that faces the ocean right beside the restaurant. No crowd and just peaceful feelings. Take the slow lifestyle, away from the crowd and relaxing moments. Can’t wait to return again. "

The views were breathtaking and the villas are beautifully designed and peaceful. The food and drink options were plentiful and delicious. Passion fruit picked fresh from the veranda for my cocktail watching the sunset was a highlight! The staff were so attentive to all our needs and looked after us and our children so well. The treatments at the spa were outstanding. There is a beach down the hill which is beautifully secluded and we had a brilliant day out snorkelling and visiting the pink beaches in the area. The whole place has such a warm and friendly atmosphere and I can’t recommend a stay here enough. Home from home! Thank you Lobster bay team for a truly memorable stay!"
