"From check-in to check-out, all the staff at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge were warm, welcoming and accommodating. My first staff encounter was with the driver for the airport shuttle who welcomed me to Fairbanks and made my short drive to the hotel comfortable and engaging. Entering into the main lobby you get a bit of a rustic feel, which I appreciated very much and is one reason I chose this location over a chain hotel. It felt like it was part of Fairbanks and its history instead of an added afterthought and the wall hangings and decor add to this feel. The front desk staff welcomed me with smiles and made sure I knew where to go to get to my room. The room I got was very clean and spacious. I was actually very surprised and pleased with how much space was in the room! The Pike’s Waterfront Lodge has several on property activities that you can participate in, and if I had a longer trip I definitely would have checked them out. I have stayed at my fair share of hotels, inns and lodges across the US and the UK and when it comes to breakfast, especially FREE breakfast, I’ve got to say, the breakfast at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge ranks in the top 3 on my list and I happily ate it on both mornings I was there. The OJ was fresh and refreshing and the home fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be returning to Pike’s Waterfront Lodge!"

"Room was spotless. Did not have room service, so did not have much contact with staff. I wish I had known that Westmark was a Hilton Hotel, so I could have booked my hotel thru the Hilton Honors program instead of Expedia. I just found out about it at the hotel, and luckily, I got upgraded."

"I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The facilities were modern, there is fast wifi, very clean, free breakfast from 6am to 10am, amazing views of Alaska, easy parking, and convenient stop for tours. The room is modern, with full amenities and they offer daily housekeeping which I love! I didn't stay for long but I wish I did. Plus side, its in the plaza where the Costco is, next door is a pizza place which opens late (Dominos I believe) and an open mall type, also not too far of a drive to the Fairbanks airport. Super convenient."
