"The room was ample and clean. The staff for the most part were very friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfast was very welcome, considering the generally high price of restaurant food in Fairbanks as elsewhere. The location of the facility, in the old downtown area, is convenient to some of the local restaurants, which is a plus. They also provide a free hourly shuttle service to a number of places in town. Another plus is the photo souvenir shop in the lobby, which is operated by a local photographer who has a multitude of prints of wildlife and scenes in a variety of forms from refrigerator magnets to metal 8x10 wall prints. We used the Springhill as a base for a week long trip that focused on seeing the aurora borealis and got more than we bargained for."

"My room was amazing. The room was always clean. The staff from front desk was kind. The night shift lady was amazing helps me with getting my parking pass and voiding an accidental parking ticket."

"The room is beautiful! And it’s in a great location as well. Not very noisy, and every business is easily accessible. The hosts Ryle and Marilyn are great. They’re communicative, and provide basically everything you would need to stay. They give you some food, body wash, towels, I even got a toothbrush! It’s very clean, and they even have puzzles and boars games. I would definitely recommend it to people.As a warning though, the bed has a hard mattress. I personally can’t sleep on a hard mattress due to existing back issues, but I wouldn’t blame the hosts for that or even call it a complaint. It’s just personally not comfortable to me. If you prefer hard mattresses or can tolerate them then this is perfect! "

"The rental appeared to be brand new, everything was in working order, the location was a few blocks off of the main strip through town (very convenient), very comfortable beds, we loved Fairbanks and got very lucky with the northern lights, they put on a spectacular show for us! Great trip "

"Our stay was so off the charts amazing we're not sure how to even begin our review of the Bed and Breakfast ~ imagine being your grandmother's favorite grandchild and walking into her home and being embraced by the aroma of gingerbread cookies and every other smell that is so delicious it takes your breath away and then imagine being greeted by the proprietress {that would be Jill} and warmly greeted and welcomed to this amazing property that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places ~ taken on a tour of the beyond beautiful home then taken to your room that is even more perfect than the brochure shows and then awaken to the most delicious mouthwatering homecooked breakfast imaginable...joining the hosts Scott and Jill and other guests for breakfast ~ coffee and conversation memory making and good cheer! Jill and Scott thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being the beginning of our unbelievably amazing Alaska Arctic Journey ~ Bobby and Sharman"
