Amazing Holiday

Family of 12 with ages from 74 to 10 and the villa provided for all of their needs. The villa was very clean, well equipped and roomy enough we could all find quiet spaces. We especially enjoyed the privacy and security that the villa provides in a quiet area. The pool is spectacular and a very welcome amenity after a day out in the very warm sunshine. Every member of the group found that that the villa was truly excellent and the information provided by Joe Carlos was extremely useful as this is the first time we had stayed in this area, it saved a mountain of time locating everything we needed. Could not ask for anything better. Seriously thinking about next year!

Fabulous villa and pool

Villa Estrelicia is a beautiful villa. Set on a quiet villa estate with well tended gardens and with a very handy Aldi only 15 minutes walk away. The heated pool was such a treat (an additional payment is required for the pool to be heated). Plenty of sunbeds and outside seating. The bedrooms were comfortable, with comfy beds, clean bedding, towels and pool towels included. The kitchen was excellently equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of en-suite bathrooms, separate bathroom and a handy toilet on main level.Communication from the host was excellent, they couldn't have been more helpful.We were a group of 60 year old friends and had the best time at the villa. We are hoping to book again.

Lovely large villa,our second visit there.Nice airy villa with a lot of rooms and space.had a few problems with the pool due to the rare high temperature s but owner easily contactable,friendly and helpful,and sorted pool cleaners asap.Loys of clean bathroom and pool towels,and air-conditioning in every room.Veranda and pool area lovely with plenty of sunbeds,chairs and tables. Over the moon,thank you Carlos again.

Nice villa

The Villa is nice and well maintained. Great pool area. The villa is nice but not for 12 people, the folding beds were too flimsy and one of the rooms in the basement smelled of sewage. Had an issue with noisy neighbors with loud music until 4-5 am, called the police, but they did nothing to stop it.

Beautiful well kept villa,just outside of Albufeira.

Beautiful spacious villa,big enough for 9 adults. No problems, peaceful residential neighbourhood. Easy access to beaches and shops and restaurants. Very happy with our visit and Communication with property owner Carlos,was always a pleasure. Thank you.

Tres bon séjour dans un complexe calme

Endroit calme, avec toutes les commodités, un peu loin du centre à pied mais on s'en accommode. Le seul bémol dans cette villa c'est que l'on ne peut pas utiliser le garage, la piscine n'est pas annulée le soir sinon il faut appeler et payer en sus et il n'y a aucun parasol. Sinon tout est ok très bon séjour

Casa bem apetrechada e limpa. Muito simpático o cesto de boas vindas. Piscina e jardim bem tratados. Contacto fácil com o anfitrião. Apenas um senão.: as regras de saída tendo de despejar o lixo do ultimo dia e lavar a loiça pareceu-nos de mais uma vez que a limpeza está incluída no preço. Recomendamos a casa sem hesitações.

Casa maravilhosa, espaçosa tendo como fator marcante, a fantastica piscina exterior aquecida. Foram banhos de manhã à noite, sem hesitar. Muito espaço exterior, com diversos ambientes.

An amazing family holiday

We have never had a family villa holiday before and we booked this before the pandemic hit, which I am so glad we did! From the minute we landed and were picked up to the minute we left, this holiday was amazing. The villa is set out over 3 floors with an additional sunbathing terrace. The air-con in every room was a god send and the private pool was perfect. As we came in August, we didn't bother with the heating but we did have the lighting and sitting around the pool of a night was lovely. It is literally a home from home as it has everything you need, so some nights we cooked, some nights we went out, we just played it day by day. Old Town and the Beach are in walking distance but not when you have a 5 year old with you but if you use the Algarve Travel service, it is really worth it. Due to COVID-19, there were some things that were different, so the clean sheets and towels were dropped off at the door and when the gardener came, we had to stay inside (if we were in) but who cares when you are staying in this villa. I have only been back 3 days and am already looking at my next holiday, as we didn't do as much as we wanted so I think we will be seeing you again next year.

Don’t look any further - book this amazing property now!

If you are searching for a 3-5 bedroom villa in the Albufeira area, stop now and book this! Our extended family of 10, including 4 children aged 2-7 years, stayed here for two weeks in early July 2019. Having stayed in various villas elsewhere in the past, our standards could be considered quite high. Villa Estrelicia did not disappoint! The booking process was simple, and Carlos was excellent in providing lots of useful information and responding to any queries so quickly, both before, during and after our holiday. We found the location to be perfect - far enough from the ‘action’ to completely relax in peace, but only a short walk to the beach or drive to the Strip/Old Town/Supermarkets/Marina. We did not find it necessary to hire a car as all these places and more can be reached for less than 10EUR (we used many Ubers which, unlike the standard taxis, will collect you for the villa door!). The villa itself is set over three floors, with one twin and one double on the first floor (both en suite), one twin on the ground floor (also en suite) and two twins on the lower ground (perfect for the children) which share a bathroom. We found all rooms to be spacious, well decorated and perfectly clean. The kitchen is well-appointed including a large dishwasher and washing machine, and the large lounge has a big tv with plenty of dvds to choose from for nights in. All rooms have aircon and the gardens are spacious and very well maintained. The pool is truly amazing! Very large, very clean and very private, with lots of space for the many sun beds - we spent most of our holiday in and around the pool. We highly recommend paying the little extra for the in-pool lighting which was lovely in the evenings. Each of us were so impressed with the villa, we cannot recommend it enough and would absolutely book again next time we visit the Algarve.

Fabulous Private Villa

We were collected from the airport by the transfer team arranged via the owner. Faultless. 30 mins drive to the villa- wow! So clean and spacious. My extended family of 8 had a blissful holiday in a beautiful part of the world. Thd villa had everything we could have needed. We cooked and are in and also ate out. 100’s of amazing restaurants 15 min walk away. The complex on which the villa is situated was a little dated and unkempt , but we only ever walked or drove through - so not a problem at all. The pool was fantastic- paying the extra to have it heated was well worth the money. Our group was 4 adults 3 teenagers and 1 baby- enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy.

Prachtige villa op een uitstekende locatie

We hebben met ons gezin (totaal 10 personen) een heerlijke herfstvakantie doorgebracht in deze prachtige villa. Alles erop en er aan. Ook helemaal zoals op de site vermeld. Muziek binnen en buiten, ruime woning, ruime kamers, ruim terras en goed uitrusting in de keuken. Zelfs een bbq ontbrak niet. Maar een klein stukje verderop zit een goed restaurant en ook een goede pizzeria, dus vooral niet elke dag koken! Een echte aanrader dus! Voor jong en oud!

Amazing

We have stayed in villa estrelicia now for the last two years in the October half term . The villa is amazing with great views and close to all amenities, the rooms are lovely and there is plenty of room for the whole family. 7 of us stayed here and no one was ever in anyone else’s way, the swimming pool is a very good size and maintained very well! The rooms/villa were all cleaned to a high standard and clean towels brought to us throughout our stay!! We would highly recommend staying here and Carlos is always on hand throughout if you have any questions

Comfort, Quality and Service meet

The property is excellent, we had a great time and will return for sure - every thing was a stated and better, this is are second time booking with Carlos, who's customer service is second to none - we stayed in one of his other properties a couple of years ago and the quality of the properties and the quality of the service offered by Carlos means my first stop and I am certain last stop when selecting my Algarve holiday will be via Carlos - 10/10 - Excellent - 5 Star and better

Fantastic Villa, fantastic holiday

Our Family of 9 have just returned from 2 weeks in this wonderful villa. A large comfortable spacious villa which is well equipped and well maintained. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch. Bedrooms all nicely decorated with good storage and bathrooms were lovely and clean. Villa was all air-conditioned. The outside area was wonderful. We spent most of our holiday there.. A very private garden, not overlooked at all, in a very quiet culdesac. We used the BBQ a few times. Lots of sun-beds and dining area was equipped with an abundance of chairs and tables. The pool was very clean and well maintained whilst we were there. A great sized pool and used every day to cool down. The kids just loved having their own pool. Lots of space for everyone around the pool area. It wasn't cramped at all. We used the mini-market on site, a small shop but very well stocked. We used Hugo, the recommended taxi company a few times, he was excellent. Very reasonable prices. He had a lovely clean mini bus, even came with booster seats for kids). We enjoyed the walk into Albuferia. The Old Town is quite a walk though. Lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from. Carlos was just wonderful too, first class service from initial booking till we returned home. Would definitely recommend this beautiful villa. We will return very soon. First class holiday- Obrigado 😀😀

Great Villa

My family and stayed at the Villa Estrelicia in April 2016 and had a great time. We found the villa to be modern, clean and well equipped and everything was as had been detailed in the description. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 6 children and the villa was both spacious and comfortable for us. For example there was plenty of seating and dining options for us both indoors and out. The location of the Villa was further away from Albufeira Strip than we have stayed in the past, however this was not an issue for us as there were details of a reasonable and reliable transfer company that served the villa. There was also a well stocked mini market within the complex. We received fantastic customer service from Carlos, from the first to the last enquiry, and any queries that we had were promptly answered and dealt with. I would highly recommend this Villa to any fellow travellers as you will not be disappointed. We added pool heating to our reservation, and it was well worth while. The children were able to swim in the pool all week, even in April.

Half of the bedrooms are at the basement!

The owner didn't mention that half of the bedrooms are at the basement! One on 3 rooms has just a minimal window - others two doesn't have any window at all!! There's no option to ventilate the rooms, so bed linen, blankets and all our cloths has musty smell! How could we enjoy the vacation at basement... I can't recommend it...

Very impressed

This was our second time to the villa and it was fantastic.there were nine of us in the group and the villa was spacious and comfortable for us all. We chose to have the pool heated as we visited in April and it was just the right temperature. I would recommend choosing this if you're going out of season. The BBQ area was brilliant.we stayed in a couple of nights and enjoyed BBQS and lots of wine outside on the patio area. I can't sing the praises of this villa enough- it's private so you don't feel overlooked by anyone,it's a very high standard of furnishing,the pool and BBQ area were both excellent. We also made full use of the 'one euro per person' taxi travel.we could text or what's app the taxi company meaning we didn't run up a big phone bill. If you're looking for a spacious,comfortable villa then choose this one; a lovely property and the team behind it were brilliant help with all the organising.

Lovely villa in good location and well equipped.

The property was very well equipped and had everything we needed to have a very enjoyable holiday. The pool and garden was lovely and well sheilded from the road. The property is a good walk from town but definitely do-able and taxi's were very easy to get hold of and cheap to use - only 5-10 euro's for 8 people. The restaurant on site was not open when we visited (May) but the Italian restaurant on the main road near the main entrance to the site was very good with excellent food and friendly staff. After a night out we often also enjoyed the good range of DVD's that were in the villa. The kitchen had everything we needed -a good sized fridge, dishwasher etc and the welcome pack of wine, tea etc was a very nice touch. We found the recommended taxi numbers provided by the villa very friendly and helpful - willing to make recommendations and to pick us all up (including our considerable shopping at times) at all times of day. We would definitely use this villa again.
