“Nice hotel”

“Very good place with dinner and breakfast available. We paid too much via Expedia”

“Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

“This is an excellent small boutique B&B. Full of charm and character. Very well maintained and clean. Owners kept themselves to themselves other than the welcome. Lovely breakfast. Very organised. Would definitely stay again so would recommend to others.”

“Electric charging point spacious comfort room away from road with shared terrace. High quality toiletries well stocked tea and coffee and hot chocolate in the room plus chocolate chip cookies delicious breakfast. Next to an excellent restaurant in a small village just off the main toad. We loved it”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“Lovely host and breakfast. Room was perfect for a 2 night stay.”

“From the very start of our stay to then end we could not fault The Dolphin in anyway shape or form. The room was beautifully decorated as well as the bathroom and had everything you would need. The restaurant for evening meal as well has breakfast was incredible, the freshness of food was really good quality and fresh ingredients. All staff were friendly from the outset, and were always willing to go above and beyond. Fabulous location to walking amenities, we were on the road side and the……

“What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles……

“Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay”

“Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon.”

“Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment.”

“Pleasant stay in a lovely location. Owner had Very enthusiastic dogs which is great if you’re a dog lover but not really our thing.”

“Second time here, another lovely room with plenty of space and well lit too. Parking was easy. Will definitely stay again.”

“Nice old building but in need of repairs and updates, room wasn’t particularly clean, old windows with condensation and not be cleaned for a while ! Good breakfast, location not bad but a killer of a hill to get back up at night, was ok as a base but if looking for a special occasion I’d look elsewhere”
