Allier Hotel with Pool

"Lovely room, great restaurant, really really noisy outside with a smoking area underneath our hotel window - nasty. "

"We had a great time at this property. It is a lovely old building with beautiful inner courtyards and an excellent restaurant. There is an outdoor pool which my husband took advantage of and the hotel is located next to a spa. Unfortunately the spa is closed at the moment for renovations with no date given for reopening. "The rooms were lovely and well appointed. Most staff spoke a little English so communication was not an issue. I liked having access to the spa however perhaps there should be one point of payment to prevent Being confused. There was no access to a restaurant which would have been nice to know at the time of booking."

"The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the layout was especially pleasing to our teenage son. He enjoyed a second level loft with his own bed and a private space. The best thing about the stay was the food! The dinner was incredible, and the courses were excellent. The breakfast was also very pleasing. "We try to be positive but sometimes ….. Room was disappointing, with vinyl on the floor, cheap curtains and cramped toilet. Shower tiles grouting dirty. Toilet kept running after flushing. Bed springs could be felt. Flashing light in stairway/hall could provoke a fit. The pictures look fine, the reality is very different. Would not return. A good Campanile is better and cheaper."
