「The hotel is very authentic and their food is yummy! The best srilankan dinner we had! The room are old but thats fine.. the staff is awesome and the owners so friendly.. they have a stunning seating with a wonderful view for lunch or dinnner and their breakfast is yummy」

「Such an amazing place to stay. Beautiful property right on a beach that is perfect for swimming. I stayed in a room which faced the ocean. Very private and quiet at night. The host prepared breakfast for me in the morning which was delicious including fresh fruits and homemade juice. The room was extremely clean. I would recommend this to anyone wishing for a clean and relaxing place to stay near Beruwala.」

「I’ve spent three nights at goalie. It was a nice stay, the facilities are clean and the pool is really nice. Room was spacious with a balcony and nice shower. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. 」

「My travel agent had originally booked me a hotel inland, but I couldn’t visit Sri Lanka’s coastline without spending a night by the beach. I found this hotel on Hotels.com, and I’m so glad I did!
The location ( right on a quiet, scenic stretch of beach) was peaceful and beautiful. Most of the time, I had the beach almost entirely to myself. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely too, but honestly, the beachside area was just too perfect not...

「We had a very pleasant stay at Mango Tree Villa. The rooms were clean, the garden and pool area were beautiful, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also enjoyed a homemade Sri Lankan breakfast!
Regarding the comments about the train close to the hotel, it did not bother us at all. There were not many trains, and we actually found it quite fun to watch them pass by.
Overall we highly recommend this place!
One small suggestion for...

「Perfect place for our first location in Sri Lanka. We stayed three nights and loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very welcoming and the quality of the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was amazing. We can also recommend the Katamaran tour in the lagoon. Free shuttle to the empty beach also worked great. Would always return here.」
