Nearby, you can explore the landscaped beauty of Stagshaw Gardens (1 mile), the remains of a Roman fort on the shores of the lake (1 mile), or the charming village of Skelwith Bridge (2.5 miles), reached via a scenic walk along the banks of the River Brathay.
