Beautifully presented ground floor apartment close to Stockghyll waterfalls, the perfect retreat for couples at any time of the year.. All on the Ground Floor:

Private parking for 1 car. No smoking or E-cigarettes. Please note: No children or babies.. Set close to the tumbling waterfalls at Stockghyll, Oaks Retreat enjoys an enviable position above the vibrant village of Ambleside, close enough to enjoy a wealth of attractions and facilities when needed but far enough away to soak up the peace and quiet of this former woodland area and enjoy some well deserved time together. Ambleside has an eclectic mix of shops, bars and restaurants to suit every palate and sufficient activities to suit all ages and abilities. Close to the foot of Kirkstone Pass, Oaks Retreat offers almost instant access to the Lakeland fells and the owners have supplied a range of walking books and guides to help you plan your route.

Refurbished to a very good standard Oaks Retreat is a spacious and stylish apartment all on one level, offering excellent facilities for a self catering break. The thoughtful owners who live adjacent have provided a lovely bed and mattress dressed with quality duvet and linens to ensure a restful nights sleep and a shower room with power shower to sooth those aching limbs. The sumptuous leather sofa offers the chance to snuggle up and take in a film or catch up on the soaps whilst the covered patio area will enable you to holiday outdoors when our typical Lakeland weather will allow!
