“Beautiful old hotel in downtown Americus. Convenient to shops and restaurants. The restored hotel is lovely insid and makes one appreciate the history of this place. The rooms have high ceilings, comfy beds and beautifully updated bathrooms. Staff at Floyd’s were great as was the food. Would definitely return.”

“Room was in Excellent condition and very clean. Plenty of parking and staff was very friendly. I was disappointed the pool was shut down because someone threw up in it but that was out of their control until tested. “Pictures don’t do it justice, what a cute comfortable farmhouse it is. Well decorated comfortable, seating and bedding. Frankly, if they put it up for sale, I’d probably snatch it up. Well stocked coffee and even snacks were provided. I got to watch three female turkeys to a stroll through the yard while I had my morning coffee. Highly recommend.”

“This place is a dump.They should not even be on Expedia. 40 dollars a night is too much to pay for that crap try 10 dollars. Towels were dirty, room smelled like mildew. Roaches were crawling over everything. Only time I saw staff was when they checked me into this hell hole. I wished my money was refundable cause I deserved it back. Only reason I stayed because I couldn't get refunded. But I was miserable as long as I was there.”

When we called the front desk to inquire about it, we were not given clear answers on how to get extra bedding. The bedding that we got did not fit the bed. “Was it clean, quiet, roach free, and have a hot shower? YES Was everything new and pristine? For the price if you were expecting that…go to the place down the way that’s double the rate. But it was great! The carpet in the hall needs replaced, some things needed updating but overall it is far better than I normally get for the price!!
