Frequently asked questions

What is Ando like for travellers on a budget?
Check out low-cost places to stay in Ando on Expedia.com and plan a trip that matches your budget. You can scroll through a wide offering of accommodation options with Member Prices to find great deals and earn rewards. Guided by our site's convenient page filters, you can limit results by your price range, or by amenities that customers often look for like free breakfast and free airport transport. If you want to see affordable options close to certain local attractions, the location filters will narrow down your search. While you browse, click the heart button to keep track of your favourites so that you can find them later when you're ready to decide. Need a car or a flight too? Take your pick of the travel packages offered under Bundle and Save and discover big savings by arranging transport at the same time.
When is the best time for a budget trip to Ando?
Weather is probably a major factor when you plan your trip to Ando, but bear in mind that cheaper options are usually available when the weather isn't as good. The hottest months are usually August and July, with an average temperature of 24°C, while the coldest months are January and February, with an average of 5°C. The rainiest months in Ando are June, July, September and October, with each month seeing an average of 222 mm of rainfall.
What is there to see and do in Ando?
You won't have to spend big to find places to visit in Ando. You can budget for the top local attractions on your list, such as Dotonbori and Osaka Castle, and then make time for other wallet-friendly activities. Check out the area's cultural spots like Nara National Museum and Asuka Historical Museum, or get outdoors at Nara Park.
How can I get to Ando and get around on a budget?
Scoping out the transportation options in Ando is a smart way to keep your trip affordable. The most convenient airport is 22.1 mi (35.6 km) from the centre in Osaka (ITM-Itami). However, if that doesn't suit your budget, you can look into flights to Kobe (UKB), which is 29.8 mi (48 km) away. Ando might not have many public transport options so a car rental could be a reasonable alternative to explore more of the area.
