Nice location with restaurants in easy walking distance and river across the street behind the property. our 2nd level room was quiet. Breakfast was average. "The first floor room eas large with a king bed, a large bathroom and kitchen with full sized stove, microwave, apartment sized fridge and sink. Bed was comfortable. Quiet area. No kitchenware in the kitchen. A quick trip to Walmart got a couple of bowls, plasticware, and paper towels. Still would stay there again. Great room for the price. things for breakfast. to"

"I was exhausted when I arrived the first night so I had no desire to complain. The room was worn but clean and serviceable. The room was larger than I expected which was nice. It came across rather sterile, but no complaint. The air conditioner was good but noisy and VERY cold even when I turned the temp up. The beds were lumpy and soft - but were serviceable considering how tired I was both nights. The shower shot a stream of water out of the bath all over the floor - but otherwise was fine. The young woman at the counter was very pleasant though it seemed like it had been a long day. Gave me a great suggestion for a place to eat. She also accommodated a last minute addition to my stay for which I was grateful. The property is a bit rough around the edges, but for the price it was a nice place to stay. My third night was in a different room - a bit smaller, but neater, more comfy, and a bit more serviceable."

"My family stayed at this property for 5 weeks, including two wild boys and a dog. The house is in a great location in a walkable community off Junction Creek, very close to town, the fairgrounds, and the North Durango area. If you keep driving past the house, you will find yourself in the San Juan National Park. Tons of hiking trailheads close by and no shortage of beautiful scenery. Walks with the dog were amazing. This house itself is well-appointed with a modern farmhouse feel. The owners have excellent style. No AC in the overall house, but there is an AC unit upstairs in the master bedroom, which takes a little getting used to coming from TX. The nights are cool and the days warm, so there are protocols that you learn around when to keep the windows open and when to close to keep the cool night air in the home. There is a barrel sauna in the back that was great. The backyard is fenced in, so your pooch can run around. The workout facility in the garage is also solid, but I chose to join Catacombs fitness downtown during my stay if you want an elevated class experience. No traditional TVs, but we got used to the projector TV setup, which worked out well for the World Cup. This was a great base camp. I was able to work during the day in two convenient office areas in the house while my boys experienced local camps and Durango fun with my wife. We did tons during our stay, and I would highly recommend this as a longer-term rental."
