「Edward is such a great host. He made sure we were comfortable for our early flight in the morning and even provided service to the airport. Great location not to far from the airport and good places to eat near by. Would stay again if every visiting San Jose. 」

「Ken and Alejandra have built a mountain paradise. The accommodations are first rate and their grounds are amazing. The breakfasts are excellent with fresh grown and made foods. It is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. They are in the mountains north of San Jose. We had a rental car and no problems moving around. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Finca Paraiso!」

「The Peace Lodge is an incredible property. The rooms are like nothing you’ve ever seen - the design and thought put into the construction is beyond compare. It’s like something designed by Gaudi. We stayed two nights and enjoyed all of the animals, the waterfalls, the beautiful pools and hot tubs, and our room. The bathrooms are awe inspiring. My only small criticism is the beds, although beautiful, are on the stiffer side. May be common in Costa Rica though. 」

The rooms are unique and gorgeous with spectacular views. The staff is warm and welcoming. The pura vida coffee detox treatment at the spa combines a massage, a mini-facial, and a coffee body scrub. 「This is a perfect property for travelers needing access to the San Jose Airport and many car rental companies. The property is gated, with street parking in front of the facility. The open kitchen allows guest access to use of fridge, microwave, coffee and water and eating area. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable with spacious bathrooms. No AC but ceiling fan in room. Note that this is a CASH only facility which caught me by surprise. The host was also gracious to allow us to drop luggage...

「We stayed coming into San Jose Airport 1 day and 1 day going out ..It is a nice property for a day or 2 ,not alot to see except for park and catherdral nearby..Our shuttle picked us up early in La Fortuna,so we arrived there early...We contacted by WhatsApps and he let us in to store luggage..We needed to use the bathroom bad and he told we had to find someplace else to use ..Rooms were not available ..We were are older and cant hold it like we use too lol..If it had been me i would have offered...

「This Guesthouse is a little Gem tucked away in the heart of the city but without the noise. Property was extremely clean, with all the necessities needed for a great stay.
