「The owner was not very friendly (although he offered to take my suitcase up). He told us that the living area was only to look at & sit but we're not allowed to eat there. There were no amenities available except a kettle & a small refrigerator. Not even a glass to brush your teeth. The room was hot & I had to put the AC on turbo to cool it. Only 1 toilet paper roll was provided & we ran out by the 3rd day. We were told we had to clean up after ourselves. He showed us where the different...

「This is a beautiful property located in Surbo which is just outside of Lecce. Stayed here for 4 nights and we were a little unsure of what we booked when we drove into Surbo and pulled up to the gates because it was quite different from the other places we stayed on our trip which were more rural. But as soon as we entered the property we could see what a beautiful oasis it was. Gorgeous, clean, fruit trees everywhere and lovely staff. Our room was large and clean and had everything we...

「Stunning grounds, fantastic castle and winery tour and wonderful warm and friendly people that are passionate about making your stay perfect. The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!」
