Glamping, anyone?! Located on 4 acres just 10 miles from downtown Athens, this new 2023 Heartland Mallard has everything for the excitement of camping with the modern luxuries of RV living. The site is surrounded by tons of acres of open farmland and forest, making it a private oasis just minutes from excellent restaurants, nightlife, breweries and all things UGA! Looking for hiking? You’re just miles away from state parks! Get away your way…not the hotel way!!


The 2023 Heartland Mallard is the perfect space for a couple or two friends traveling together. It has a king-sized bed with memory foam mattress, dinette seating, two recliners, TV w/ built-in DVD player, propane 3 burner stove, air fryer oven, microwave, large sink, refrigerator, shower with high pressure nozzle, and awning with a private outdoor space. The owners live on the property in the log cabin, but the camper has its own secluded area and parking space. It consists of a full hook-up, which includes central heat/air, water, and sewer.

Quiet in the country

Clean and comfy camper perfect for the two of us. We both got to watch the UGA game with our feet up in the recliners. Slept like logs in the peace and quiet. Ashley let us drop our gear off a couple of hours early so we didn't know our exact time of arrival at the end of GA State horseshoe pitching tournament and annual meeting. That was a great help. Loved the location.

What a fun night!!!

We came in town from Wisconsin to attend a UGA football game with our college senior son and we had a great time in this VRBO. The owner, Ashley, was fantastic to work with---with quick responses to any emailed questions, to a complete walk through of the RV as we checked in, to allowing an early check-in, to a personalized message on the refrigerator when we checked in and more. The setting was beautiful, the king size bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all that we needed. We loved getting to "brag" that we stayed in an RV in a peaceful setting. Thanks Ashley!!!
