“The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. “The property grounds and room are exceptional. We wanted a light snack at night and didn't care for the menu which had hamburgers French Fries . I asked a cheese tray and fruit platter and they made one up for us special. It was very good. The only thing about the lodge is that they have a very limited overall menu. You only get to choose the main course and it's only two options. For the first night we were there for lunch we had the beef tenderloin and it was very hard. I did not eat it. It's……

“Don't let the ride there dictate what you're going to think of the hotel because trust me the right there is really brutal but it is so so so so so worth it extremely beautiful the hotel itself is exceptional staff are very good I greatly enjoyed it I would show you some of the pictures but apparently there's no way to do that but I'm telling you it's worth it”

“We were taking the shuttle bus to Nairobi and we were picked up at this hotel. Very clean but the amenities are sparse: 1 towel, 1 bottle of water, 1 soap, no shampoo. Bathroom needs attention, no lighting above sink, faucet turns at base when turned on. Hot water for shower is a plus.”
