"Nice hotel within walking distance of Asilomar Beach and Point Pinos Lighthouse, and for active folks also walkable to downtown Pacific Grove. My room was nice, spacious and clean. Plenty of parking as well. I would rate the breakfast selection as average. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, juice and coffee. The day I arrived there was trash in the covered parking area that wasn’t picked up for several days. Overall I would rate Monarch Resort as a 4 out of 5."
