Our hotel room had tons of MOLD in the shower and in the room with wall paper peeling off exposing more mold. We couldn't even stay there because one of us in the group were allergic to mold and we did not even get a refund.

Overall the property and rooms were good. We enjoyed the historic beauty and close proximity to the beach. We never found the pool so we didn't use it. There was a wedding event happening and we could hear the thumping of the music in our room. The shower kept dripping all night even though we turned it all the way off.

Needs cleaning, slept about two hours because of the upstairs neighbors being so loud, the bathtub did not drain, ice machine was broken. On the other hand, the back patio and environment was natury and allowed for some great, calm moments to myself.

Verbal requests for handicap accommodation were ignored. I learned I had to book at time this request at time of making reservation . Unable to shower during vacation. Had called 2X to arrange prior to arrival. + Room had no view and far from dining.

Great awesome location since beach is only a 5 minute walk. Rooms are not the best shape. We had holes on the wall, shower head broke, some of the window screens are also broken letting some bugs in.

I really enjoyed the property however they encouraged me to pay for breakfast in the morning and when I got there, it was sold out, which I did not know could even happen. Otherwise I would have paid when I checked in which I had no problem doing because I knew I was going to need the breakfast option because I was traveling with my 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year-old and it just made a lot more sense to eat at the property… Since they were sold out we had to check out four hours earlier than planned in order to hit the road and grab some food before we took HWY 1 all the way home… Not having breakfast put a huge damper on our day, our trip and created some unhappy memories because everybody was hungry! Next time ask if they want the buffet breakfast at registry and if they don’t tell them it does sell out

The problem is the housekeepers who literally knock on your door like a military drill instructor at 8:20 am. It happened to me during my stay. The housekeeper knocked loudly at our door like banging it, waking up my sleeping toddler. Before I asked how I can help her, she was already angry before the conversation. So I told her that check out is at 11 am and not at 8 am and she has no business of banging each hotel doors. She told me in a nasty voice that we did not put a "do not disturb" tag on the door which literally our room has none. So I asked for her name and she immediately called for security. Well, the immediate supervisor came in and I asked, where is the security because "your housekeeper is out of order!" He said, "we don't have those." I told him that I paid for the room and I deserve privacy until checkout time. "You don't knock at my door at 8 am like a military drill instructor." He said that they are not state park employees and they are under the company called Aramark.😂 Since the kids are all awake and we are ready for check out, we walked to the customer service desk before we stroll to the beautiful boardwalk and Asilomar beach, which is still closed until 9am. What a great start to ruin the day by your housekeeper! The mere fact that customer service admitted that they hear similar complaints will tell you the habits of these individuals! My stay is not free. These folks are callous and has no place in this kind of business!!!
