"We booked a low floor connecting room. Room was clean and it was not noisy despite low level. However, basin in master bedroom was small and tap was hard to turn on. Bed was also showing its age as it lacked support. Otherwise staff are warm, friendly and go the extra mile to ensure our stay is comfortable. Location was impeccable. It was walking distant to the food street and old market. Booking of show and latern release is a breeze at the hotel. On the whole, good hotel and great location."

"The Square Villa was a lovely stay! The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was always cleaned promptly and our requests were met right away. The location is also great- it is near the Japanese bridge and night market. There is a super cute coffee shop a block away which was the best we’ve had in Vietnam. "Lovely hotel, great location just a minute's walk from the night market and many eateries. Fabulous rooms with the best shower on the trip to date and lovely warm pool. Note that the 'River view' rooms are overlooking the quiet part of the river (not the busy but where the lanterns are). Only one small issue is a steep slope to get from the lobby to lift...it wouldn't be good for any disabilities or elderly who aren't sure footed. "
