“I stayed at Gardiner House in Newport, RI for five nights this past week, paying over $1,000 a night for what turned out to be the worst hospitality experience I've ever had at a hotel. “Got this as a gift for our anniversary. This is really a wedding venue and most folks seem to stay for the wedding and are up late and making noise and then out the next day. We had a 2 night stay - no room cleaning service for the price. We were just around corner from reception which doubles as a wine bar in afternoon, hangout in evenings and breakfast bar in am. Place is somewhat old and so you hear everything. At 10:45 when they are still chatting at wine bar and then when revelers come……
