“Crossways is a gem of a hotel with wonderful views of Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding countryside. The beds are comfortable and Internet access is very good. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are generally very good. There was just one morning when the staff lost track of who still needed to order their breakfasts. Talking of tracks the road to the hotel from Pilton is single track but it is worth the care needed to get there.”
“We travelled 4 hours for a family funeral & stayed 2 nights . The wake was also held here & the staff was superb & very helpful.
We would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends & family .”
“A wonderful place to stay. Delightful pub with comfortable rooms. Great atmosphere. Lovely continental breakfast and the food in the restaurant in the evening was first rate. Highly recommended.”
“This is an excellent affordable option if you want to visit the holy sites in Glastonbury on a budget. It's a 45 minute walk over Wyrryl hill to the Tor and Wells. There is decent shopping close and a bus you can get to Wells. The bed is comfortable and the rooms have very good facilities ifr making tea and coffee. The water is hot and it has reliable WFI. The staff is friendly. I will stay there again for sure if I'm in the area. ”
“We had an amazing time at this lovely hotel and the caves. The room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. Lovely time had by my family will definitely be going back. ”
“Everything from the room, the food and the staff to the hotel itself was absolutely amazing!
The room and hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff are very friendly! We will definitely be back !”
“We had a lovely night's stay at the Mildmay Arms and were made to feel very welcome.
The room was clean and comfortable with a powerful shower.
Our evening meal was tasty and we enjoyed our evening in the pub. The staff and the locals were really friendly.
There were cold meats/cheese/cereal/yogurt and toast on offer for breakfast which was included.
We thought both the room and the meal were really good value and would stay here again.
I would just recommend taking earplugs as the church bells……
“Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally.
Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine.
Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. ”
“Lovely staff and a seamless registration process. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. It was nice, and unusual, to have enough tea, coffee and milk in the room to avoid the embarrassment of asking for more! ”
