"A beautiful clean hotel in the middle of nowhere which made it even better! Travelled down for a wedding at Pennard Farm and didnt know what to expect but a really lovely place. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and breakfast was beautiful. A truly pleasant stay."

"The Shire Cottage is a great place to stay. It has plenty of space for a family and is well kept. It is quintessential England. We had a great time exploring the grounds also. The only thing to note for future is that there are several other rentals on the property. All have their own dedicated space however. But if you’re looking for complete privacy, this one might not be right. Lastly, the owners/managers went above and beyond to accommodate us Americans that aren’t used to no AC. It wasn’t hot outside but we’re just so used to sleeping in the cold AC. The owners/manger helped us out and got a fan for us to use at night. Thanks so much!"

"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "
