Outer Banks...Hatteras Island ....

Love the Outer Banks and all the beauty it offers. We love ❤ the longstanding little shops....Orange Blossom Bakery....Buxton Book Shop....Pangea Restaurant...Ocracoke Island....the quaint beaches and shelling. Up on the Roof only a place to stay. Vbro great....working with Surf and Sound poor.

A great escape

The home was exactly as pictured/described. The three king bed bedrooms with attached bathrooms gave us all plenty of space for alone time and just steps to the beach gave us plenty of together time too! Ours was a covid getaway where we spent our time inside cooking with family or on the nice semiprivate beach. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of utensils and accoutrements for our culinary adventures and the big dining table gave plenty of room for family dinners and gametime together.

Awesome House close to everything

This house was awesome. It would near everything in Avon. We had a guys fishing trip and tried fishing at the beach right there at the house but we didn't have any luck there. The home was very clean and appeared to be well kept up. The only snag we had was with the code sent to us to get into the house. It wouldn't work to allow us in so we had to contact the realty company to get a new code. There were plenty of pots and pans in the house and cutlery too. There were 2 vacuums. The lockable storage under the house was nice just be sure to bring your own lock. The parking was a little tight for a big F350 and a F150. The F150 fit under the house and we barely fit the F350 outside in front of the grill. We will stay there again.

Nice Property but…….

This is a great property for families, home is stocked with about everything you can think of. Had a few issues with the cleanliness but the property manager called to see if there was anything they could do. We chose to not make a big deal out of it. The only thing our family was not fond of was that it was pet friendly. We knew that upfront and figured it wouldn’t really be an issue. It was……the dog hair was embedded in the carpet, couch, and decorator pillows. Dropping anything on the floor led to finding a fur ball on the floor. We can’t diss the property or housekeeping for that. It was disclosed as pet friendly. If pet hair is something you are use to or don’t mind, you will love the place! If you don’t love dogs or have children afraid of them be cautious of the area as dogs are running loose on the beach a lot. The area is great! Close to everything! Owners of the property went to the trouble to document things in a book that were helpful! You can tell they take pride in their home.

Great location and very clean!

We enjoyed our time at “Up On The Roof”. The house was incredibly clean and well stocked with dishes and kitchen ware. Watching the sunrise over the ocean from the upstairs balcony was beautiful! Close to all conveniences. We especially enjoyed Muffins and Scones so close by. Would have appreciated the toilet paper being put in the bathrooms and some dish detergent, but otherwise a great stay.
