Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Super nice staff.
Lovely cozy, comfortable hotel, large rooms, very dog friendly, great food, good prices, huge garden at rear. Very welcoming, staff are so nice, a great stay thanks.
The room was amazing and so comfortable, the staff were lovely and couldn't have done anymore to make our stay special. The food was phenomenal and after seeing the prices we will definitely be planning on visiting more often with our family. Cannot wait to see the renovation but hope the same feeling stays about the place as it is such a special venue for us as a family. We got married there and love the old Scottish feel about the place.
We enjoyed our stay at The Savoy...including the lovely full Scottish breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thankyou.

Closing for refurbishment
This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The meals were excellent. It is closing at the end of October for a complete refurbishment, taking about 6 months, so any review now would, in my opinion, be irrelevant.
Great room. Convenient walking to city center. Food in hotel restaurant is really good with great breakfast.

Lovely old hotel. Read that it was due for a refurb which I hope it does not lose it's character. Ensuite definitely needs upgrading but bedroom spacious, huge TV and hot drink facility. Towels not soft to the touch and cobwebs in the ceiling, probably missed due to the higher ceilings in a older property. At dinner had to ask several times for condiments etc but put it down to training. Free car parking which is always good so will look forward to staying again after refurb. Would recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay.staff were absolutely great very helpful and friendly the girls that served us were polite and chatted to us we felt very comfortable.my only problems were too many stairs up to the room.the room was nice but would have preferred a bigger window .it says on website all rooms have large windows well ours never felt as though we got the room nobody wants away in the attic.few other problems but did enjoy the rest of the stay.
Lovely, historic boutique hotel in Ayr. Small, but nicely appointed room, convenient location. Near the beach, close to transportation, etc. Walked to a beautiful golf course, Belleisle, and played there on a spectacular sunny day. Enjoyed 2 breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant. Very pleased with our choice of accommodations.
If you want to experience a Scotish style hotel this is the place to stay...Excellent staff, food, service and only a few minute walk to the town, beach and golf courses.
Room spacious and comfy nice view over the garden's, shame there was no shower as the ceiling was to low for one, breakfast was a treat if you like a full Scottish.
