Very nice place to stay while in Bacalar. The rooms are very comfortable, could use some robes and nice local lotions but other than every room has a different view if the lagoon. Food was exquisite and staff very friendly and always willing to help. If you are interested in Bacalar, look up this place.

Perfect hotel for relaxation. The view is breathtaking. The room was huge we liked the separate toilet and shower stalls, the multi use shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We would have liked a bottle of lotion too. The on-site restaurant patio was a real bonus, the food was delicious and plated beautifully The waiters were very personable and professional.

Charming small hotel with spacious rooms and all the necessary amenities. Gorgeous views of the lake. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Beautiful quiet spot on the banks of the lagoon. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was great! Can’t wait for the bar to be up and running!

What a dream stay. Everyone is SO nice. Our room, while rustic, was amazing. You can walk just a few feet away and overlook some of the most beautiful views in the word. Kayaks and paddle boarding are included. Breakfast was free every day and was delicious. The staff was so attentive. You cannot find service like this at the Four Seasons. The waiters and maintenance staff were so accommodating. One caveat and it has nothing to do with the hotel, we got bit by mosquitoes a lot in the room. I recommend you bring lots of bug spray and even a plug in to avoid it. The staff had a whole bottle of Off spray in their dining area which is a great idea. Can’t wait to go back!

The location of the hotel is perfect with private access to the Lagoon which was beautiful. There were some problems with the water drainage and lots of sounds of water in the pipes at all hours which was frustrating. The food that was included in the breakfast was mediocre. Overall great location and a very nice area, but facilities and food could be better.

We had a wonderful time at Azulea Bacalar. We stayed in the best room they had but unfortunately a few things were not working well. Blackout drapes were not the right size so the windows were not all they way covered. Water pressure was not the best, the terrace was missing furniture with cushions. The hotel was overall clean, the staff was amazing, and the food was seriously sooo good. Quite the chef! Thank you to Miguel and everyone that took good care of us. They reimbursed us for one of the nights we didn't have water.Everyone was so attentive. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful one!!

Adults only for us from now on!

Really it was a lovely place but unfortunately for us our stay was ruined by screaming toddlers. We were in the room above the vacation ruing family with tree kids and I can’t explain how but their shrills were able to penetrate cement flooring. I couldn’t help but notice that we could have been placed away from the noise but the management put the old folks who never had kids (your welcom planet) as close as they possibly could. We had a horrible stay and were planning to enjoy some of the amenities but hightailed it out of there instead.

El acceso a la laguna increíble y en general súper agradable la estancia; Únicamente 2 cosas que recomiendo; 1 colocar un bote de basura en la habitación ya que solo había en en sanitario. 2.-Ampliar las opciones de desayuno.
