"Great place to stay"

"We stayed 3 nights in room 7. The pros: The retro vibe is pretty cool. The lady working the office was very friendly and helpful every time we interacted. The air conditioner worked great. The shower was very spacious with hot water. The property is a five minute walk to the local grocery story, which was very convenient. It’s a short walk to the beach. The refrigerator was a far better model than the typical hotel/motel fridge. The giant nautical map in the room was really cool. The cons: The motel is at least half a mile from the nearest restaurant (if that challenges some.) The sink in room 7 is very small and has a huge faucet and shelf over the sink to place toiletries. I couldn’t lean over the sink when brushing my teeth. I had to turn my head sideways and place my head between the sink and shelf to rinse my mouth. Forget about washing your face in that sink. There was no chair in the room, only the two beds. I would stay a Royal Palms again but would select a differing room layout."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home was clean and bright and open. It was stocked well with coffee, soaps and toiletries, and even laundry detergent. The ocean views from the main floor and primary bedroom balconies were breathtakingly gorgeous, even better than the pictures. Watching the sunrise from the bedroom balcony was a highlight of my trip. Also super easy access to the beach and the sunset views are a quick walk toward the back river beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We rented bikes and rode through the quiet subdivisions across Butler Avenue and around the South Beach area. We visit Tybee every couple years and found our new favorite place to stay."

"Very much enjoyed our stay. Great views from the balcony of the ocean. Clean and well provisioned. Only issue was that noise from the unit above us especially at night. But overall we were pleased with the property, the communication - that was very efficiently handled with everything that we needed to know."
