"If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas...

"We stayed 4 days in the resort and had a wonderfool experience. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, with stunning beaches and breathtaking views. Our room vas very clean, comfortable and well maintained. the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. The only downside was the cost. Food drinks and most purchase within resorts were very expensive."

"It is in serious need of an update. Rooms are clean but very dated. The food is the same stuff every day. If you need a few days there for layover or whatever, it is OK for that but for a full week you get bored with it very fast. The front desk staff is not the most friendly most of them looked like they didn't want to be there and annoyed that you were talking to them."

"We had a lot of thoughts about our stay, so this might be a little long. What we liked: The food and service at the Verandah buffet was consistently the best that we experienced during our stay. The staff were very attentive, especially Bendji that worked during breakfast! The doorman and beach shuttle driver were knowledgeable and helpful as well. Best drinks were at Hog Bar, the bartenders are great! We had a late flight and opted to pay the $35/pp to stay after check out and were thrilled to hear that they have a courtesy room available for 30 min to refresh before your flight. Everything else: Check in was hectic as the front desk staff kept disappearing. We had a "water-view" room that looked out at an empty lot & bridge. The AC was stuck on so we woke up to a 59 degree room. The food and service at the restaurants were okay, but we always wished we had stuck with the buffet. Also, the restaurants had wine and premium options listed that were outside of the "all-inclusive" plan. There is no airport shuttle. The power temporarily went out for the entire resort several times. The harbor beach is nice, but there is a strong odor from the work site next door. TLDR: This resort is fine if you just need the basics, but we will not be staying here again."
