"We stayed at the hotel for three days before moving to another room that had been booked by our travel agency as part of our tour. Unfortunately, when we opened the door to the new room (4th day), we were immediately greeted by a strong cigarette smell. We reported the issue to the Front Desk, and they eventually arranged for us to move to another clean room. I sincerely hope that the Housekeeping Department will bring such issues to management’s attention in the future. A room with a strong cigarette odor and visible stains should not be considered ready for a new guest. It is disappointing that such a room was made available in the first place, especially when guests expect a clean, fresh, and healthy environment during their stay. I hope management will take this matter seriously and improve its room inspection procedures to prevent similar situations from happening to other guests."

"1. Rooms are twice the size of a Carnival Cruise ship 2. Breakfast is a good deal with 95 items (includes juices, breads, etc) 3. Transfer from airport on line 11 to Gaxi north to line 2, exit G at Hubei 4. Laundry on 13th floor preloads in soap automatically so eat breakfast, 36 min later, wash is complete, dry on high 2 x 10 minutes and presto, all done - very convienient 5. While there, get your teeth cleaned across the street at Maiya dental. They charge about US$ 7 for 45 minutes. Perhaps sthe best deal you can get as a walkin 6. The metro is worth while because it has AC, fast, and gets you around to a lot of places. The airport provides a free metro card loaded with yuan 15th. Ask for one at the airport 7. CYBO station hotel has a lot of international travelers, so you will fit right in 8. Water pressure is great. 9. Internet is very good though the firewall may preclude access. A sim card from home may solve"

"Location is great. Right next to the subway station and the electronic shopping malls. Walking distance to restaurants. The restaurants right at the hotel are decent. Hotel rooms are located at floor 23 and above which are above the average height of other buildings. Nice city view."

"I can’t say enough about the staff here. They were very friendly and went to great lengths to make sure everything was okay with the room and personal items. They were able to make special arrangements so that the breakfast was included for my stay. The breakfast buffet was quite amazing, covering every western dish and possibly every Chinese dish imaginable. Their staff was even attentive to details that I needed on a personal level. This was the second time that I stayed in this hotel in one month. I didn’t use the pool this time, but I did my first time and it was perfect for lap swimming. I didn’t need my Chinese adapter as the receptacle also accommodated US standard 120V 2 prong plugs. Also I was able to access my Gmail email without a VPN, which wasn’t the case in other Chinese cities where I stayed. (Changsha, Xi’an, Quanzhou, Shanghai). The Italian restaurant was very nice with decent selection and prices for dinner. Their staff also set me up with a vehicle that went directly from the hotel to the Hong Kong airport, a car with special license plates that allowed it to drive both in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, going through customs and immigration where I only had to get out of the car once to show my passport. The price was 1600 RMB, which seemed high (over $200 US) but considering the alternative of taxis, lines, walking, bag drags, I was willing to pay. I had booked a stay in a Hong Kong hotel the night before my afternoon flight, but could have left that am from sz."
