"So nice to have just a quick ride to the hotel from the airport instead of sitting in traffic. The room was very clean and I love the smell of the amenities that they have in the bathroom. The breakfast was surprisingly full of variety and one gentleman who worked the breakfast was warm, helpful and provided a few things that were not out on the tables. Will definitely stay here again should the need to stay close to the airport arise again."

"Absolutely extraordinary! My stay at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belén was exceptional from beginning to end. Everything—the beautiful property, accommodations, service, atmosphere, food, and hospitality—exceeded my expectations. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous and has such a distinctive Costa Rican character. I loved the beauty, tranquility, and attention to detail throughout the property. The staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for at every turn. Everyone I encountered was warm, professional, attentive, and accommodating. I travel extensively and have stayed at hotels and resorts around the world, so I recognize exceptional hospitality when I experience it. Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belén absolutely delivered. There was honestly nothing for me to complain about. Everything was extraordinary! I left relaxed, refreshed, completely satisfied, and with wonderful memories of Costa Rica. This is a property I would gladly visit again and recommend without hesitation. Five stars all the way! "The hotel has a nice idea of a little jungle right outside the urban area. Easy airport shuttle. Staff were helpful and attentive for the most part. Clearly was nicer in past and needs some updating. The view of the city is beautiful and it is a nice escape into a more remote area. That being said the food is ok. There isn’t much around you can walk to so unless you have a car or uber it’s hard to go to a restaurant etc. on site there is a little pool and some massage chairs and a small walking trail. Just go to relax if you have a day or two in SJO but not longer unless you have a car."
