“Maz and crew were great hosts for the 2 nights we stayed! The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms had a hairdryer, shampoo and body wash and an iron was available. Close proximity to the bus station and footpath to Chattsworth House. It’s about a 25 minute walk from the front door of the hotel to Chattsworth House. Several dining options within a short walk. Wouldn’t recommend getting off at the Grindleford train stop for this hotel, as taxis were nonexistent.……

“Very enjoyable stay at The Cheshire Cheese Inn, staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the evening meal and the food quality was excellent and the service great. Nothing was too much trouble and the team chatted to us throughout the evening. Breakfast the following morning was top notch (my particular favourites being the sausage and bacon). I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay in this wonderful establishment if you’re ever in the area,”
