Follow the trail onwards to Chee Dale (5 miles), where pretty stepping stones offer a magical destination for a summer’s afternoon. While in the area, be sure to visit Bakewell (2.5 miles), an old English market town filled with heritage architecture and winding streets, well known for its delicious sweet treat, the Bakewell Pudding. Alternatively, meander through the shops and cafes of Bakewell, home to a weekly Monday market and the renowned Bakewell Pudding. Its twin, spa-town, Buxton, is only 20 minutes away and offers a lively arts scene, including the opera house.
