「The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!」

「The property is very well located on a hill above Bakewell. Parking for a medium sized car on site is a bonus. Bakewell is a busy town, full of tourists. Ate at Charleston’s, do not recommend.
Everything was great, we enjoyed our 3 nights at Bakewell」

「Absolutely beautiful and quaint, similar to what you see in period movies and tv shows. We would definitely stay here again. We recommend suite 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and en-suite were remodeled recently, keeping the old world charm with updated amenities.」

「Do not use the postcode alone as it takes you further up the road to the wrong property.
Only stayed for 2 nights while we did the big hike marathon but the property was very nice, it could do with a little TLC for minor things on the decor but nothing that really bothered us. Very close to Bakewell & a lovely pub over the road with nice food & service. Bit tight on parking but we managed to get on no problem. All in all a lovely stay & would like to return again.」
