“It was great. Staff wonderful, food great communications excellent, only slight detraction was the room was a tiny bit tired and in the cottage across the road with a bit of a sticky window. However in general terms we live the whole experience and I can’t praise the staff enough. They were brilliant ”

“Stayed for one night on our way to visit friends. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and then a wonderful comfortable night's sleep before a fantastic breakfast in the morning. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and we particularly appreciated being shown how everything worked in the room such as the coffee machine and the Aircon. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!”

“Excellent service as soon as I arrived at The Barrel Inn. All the staff I came into contact with were friendly and extremely helpful. From check in, breakfast, bar staff and waiting on. Food was wonderful. Apart from the above what most impressed was when I was out for a walk, Oliver contacted me to see if myself and my husband needed a reservation for that evening. Above and beyond as far as I'm concerned, looking after their residents. As I know from the evening before the pub would have been……
