"Reopened earlier this year; i see it as value for money, staying in chalet with 2 rooms up the hill, which you can either track up the slope or order their buggy. Friendly staff, peaceful environment, partly due to lesser crowds, its' a hidden gem for the price. Still within cellular coverage not to be worried with disconnected from civilization. "Breakfast selection was very good and delicious. We had lunch at the Italian restaurant, and it was very good too."

"Amazing location - beautiful and relaxing."

"Great staff, great hotel"

"Have been to Bayview beach hotel before as met our daughter there and found it to be very nice and staff friendly. Location ideal as you can catch 101 bus into George Town and buses run about every 15 minutes for less than £1"

"Staff are helpful and friendly. Good location ."

"Breakfast very poor. And the hotel is located in a non developed area. Hard to walk. The beach was messy. How ever the rooms are really big and comfortable."

"Had a good time here in this residence and I did enjoy it. I kept extending my stay cos I love it here in Penang and with the residence. I was blamed for a minor crack in the room’s lamp which we did not do, but we manage to talk with the stuff about it through whatsapp and solve it. Lovely stuff, just the room cleaner they need to be quite and be honest sometimes, even to smile when you greet them. But overall I give the residents a 5 star"

"Staff were extremely helpful."

"Good place to stay"

"best ever hotel to stay with family and children.."

"This is one of the most magical places to stay. I’m so happy we got to enjoy this unique property and the incredible service."

"Brendan and the Eythrope staff exemplify Malay hospitality- we enjoyed our stay immensely and were quite sad to leave. The hotel feels like a home away from home, and the views are amazing. There’s restaurants a few mins away and lots to see and do on the Hill. Would love to return soon"

"Close to restaurants and beach. The food is delicious and not expensive. There’s a balcony overlooking the hills where you can watch the sunset "

"The ride up and down the hill from the main road was a challenge and an obstacle. We loved the jungle-like setting but the ride up and down the single lane toad forced us to cut our stay shorter. "
