“The staff at this hotel are the highlight! Everyone was so kind and attentive. Hotel is small but lovely with a great restaurant. It’s a bit of a drive to get to Bridgetown or other areas to eat/walk around, outside of Oistins (which is open outside of Friday Night Fish Fry, but in my experience was very quiet).”

“South Point Hotel was beautiful! We were greeted by friendly staff and our room was clean and neat. We had a garden view room. The gardens were gorgeous -filled with all types of plants and flowers. The beach is located behind the hotel but unfortunately the sea weed was overgrown. So we enjoyed the pool which was close to the restaurant and bar. The food served at Driftwood Restaurant was delicious! South Point is a nice place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. The hotel is remote, so you……

“The room is not clean at all. You can't see the ocean from your room or house which you must be careful when you decide to book. The host is not friendly as they come from New York and all they care is only money.”

“Rooms are on the 2nd floor or above, no elevator, you either pay someone to take your bags to the room or lug them up 2 or more flights - was not easy. The beach is close but the seaweed there turns it brown, so it seems a bit uninviting. Price was good”

“I booked this property through Expedia under stressful circumstances — Barbados air traffic controllers went on strike, my flight was canceled, and I was stranded along with many other travelers. I found this listing, booked it, received a confirmation number, and paid for a taxi to get there. When I arrived, the owner told me she had no room for me and that the property was fully booked. I had to advocate for myself and explain that I had a valid confirmation number and nowhere else to go. To……

“I was given a horrible room on ground floor looks like it was flooded in recent weeks..sheets dingy and even had stains..I complained they said I paid for basic. I was going to look for another hotel but then they moved me to a better room. Breakfast was also not worth the price poorly prepared. Would not go back!”

“I think the first day set the experience in a negative and was hard to bounce back from. I chose this hotel to stay at for my birthday. Upon arrival we were taken to a room that honestly should not be rented out as a part of this hotel at this time. The space is still clearly being transitioned from apartments and does not give any sense of relaxation. . The room is extremely small with very little walking space. The doors are rusted and I would not use the kitchen. This is their kitchenette……
