Apartment located near the Sagrada Familia and the Hospital Sant Pau. All kind of services in the surroundings: shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars.

Very good transport connections: close to the metro stations "Sagrada Familia" (L2/purple line and L5/blue line) and "Joanic" (L4/yellow line) at 200 m. Within only 10 minutes by metro to Paseo de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya, El Born and Barceloneta.

I chose to stay in a more local side of town for this trip to Barcelona and this place did not disappoint. Photos match the unit. Bedrooms are nice size AND has a beautiful terrace outback. About a seven minute walk to the metro, which is only two stops from P.de Gracia. Air-conditioning did not blow ice cold, but it did keep the unit cool. Situated in a quiet local side of town no loud tourist or anything like that to worry about.. some mild construction was going on right on the street in front of my unit, but it was always wrapped up by normal business hours overall would definitely choose this place again lovely apartment.

Before we left the U.S., we thought we had paid for our stay. However, 2 days before, we were contacted by owner (?) that it was not and the link sent to us didn’t work. Several days before our stay, I asked where check-in info was and was told we had not completed info about us. We completed info, but still no check-in info. Got to apt at night and had no way to get on! Taxi driver stayed with us to help us figure out how to get in (which we paid him for). After calling VRBO multiple times, they unable to assist. Finally after about 2 hours, the mgr or owner unlocked the door remotely. We were exhausted, hungry and very frustrated, but didn’t know neighborhood. Several residents of this apt. complex told us that this happened frequently to the VRBO guests (they couldn’t figure out how to get in). And, as a last comment, we got pick-pocketed in this neighborhood.PS…we tried to contact mgr/owner the night before to find out what we were to do with our key on leaving. We had to leave before she responded. Not a happy experience!

We liked this apartment and loved its location! Great area for walking and so easy to reach public transportation. The issues we experienced were: The registration/payment process was much harder than it should have been. The AC was not working (during a heatwave!) and it took a few days for the management to address it properly; once they did, it was much better. And while the manager was responsive during office hours, a word of caution: make sure that any problem you have with the apartment occurs b/t 9a and 6:30p lol; otherwise you will have to wait until the next day

Property was very good, check in and payment process not.

The property was well equipped and comfortable. After requesting my reservation with VRBO, I got confusing emails which eventually wound up in me not paying with VRBO but with a Barcelona travel agency. That agency would not give me the address of my rental nor instructions on how to access the key. That was done by the taxi driver that the agency hired to take us from the the airport to the rental location. The description of the property noted it had a washer and dryer. Not true. No dryer, only an outside clothing line to hang wet clothes. The travel agency was responsive to solving a few minor issues with the rental.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is lovely and had a nice terrace. It's in a lively neighborhood with many restaurants, families, and elementary schools. It is not full of tourists. Most of the time it was quiet, except on Saturday when there was a street festival. We walked to Sagrada Familia, Picasso Museum, Casa Vincens, Palau de Musica, distances varied from 10 minutes to 45 minutes on foot. There was a washing machine but no dryer; you can hang clothes on the terrace. Kitchen well equipped. Listing says bidet; there is none. Smoking not allowed. Attempted digital check-in but service in the lobby was spotty and we ended up being let into the lobby by a tenant who was leaving and then having to call the agency, which was able to open the apartment door remotely.

Beautiful large, quiet clean apartment in safe, non-tourist neighborhood. Check-in was remote via Whatsapp and then we were independent which is what we love. Highly recommended.

Appartement très agréable à vivre et idéalement placé pour profiter de Barcelone. Nous étions 5 pendant notre séjour avec un chien. La terrasse est un atout de ce logement. Worth your interest

Good: close to important sites (La Sagrada Familia, Park Grüell, metro within 600m). Great apartment with its own private terrace! Comfortable and well-stocked (with one odd exception, see below). Super easy check-in and attentive staff. Great value for the cost! Less good: No microwave? Really? Does no one eat take-away in Barcelona? Oddly noisy building, seemingly at all hours. Some of that was other transients, they took their 2am party with them. But other noises were more permanent (like the auto shop downstairs that thankfully closed around 6pm). Problem easily resolved with some white noise (and the apt could use a fan--we would've used that instead of the A/C). Possible problems for others: Set up of building not conducive to anyone in a motorized personal mobility device but it seems that's true of every Spanish building I've been in. The shower is also only 2x3ft in diameter. I'm not sure a larger person would comfortably fit. Overall though, for me, 4+ stars out of 5 (it needs a microwave).

Lovely apartment

The second bedroom was disappointing- there was a lack of fresh air , no air conditioning and the bed was very creaky - you could hear when a person moved even a little. My friend ended up sleeping on the sofa bed which defeated the purpose of renting a 2 bed flat. Apart from that the apartment was lovely ! The terrace was great , spacious and airy . The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. It was mostly very quiet and a handy location for sight seeing and transport. We were a little anxious about getting entry to the apartment as communication by text and phone wasn’t too clear but after a wait outside we eventually got access and later were greeted by a pleasant rep with a complimentary pack of toiletries and cleaning supplies.

Great Neighborhood and Location

The condo was in a great neighborhood and location! Nice restaurant just up the street and a market right across the street. The patio was the real delight - very large and provate! The check-in process was a little difficult, and the 2nd bedroom is a little tight - but, overall, the place was good... I'd stay there again...

great terrace!

The terrace is wonderful and we enjoy staying at this location. It felt like a safe location. The place is near bus stops and not a far walk to underground (but they are working on the road there this Fall 22.) A plus was the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. There is not an oven but they do have a microwave that also grills. (I was afraid of using it much without any instructions however). Full size stovetop with pans, dishes and dishwasher. 2nd bedroom has no window but a door to sot. private laundry terrace. I opened that as it was still warm out and it gave a nice breeze.. but the elevator is louder. Usually second bedrooms have bad beds but this one is good with full closet as well. thank you for the nice stay

une entrée dans l'appartement catastrophique!!!! Ont vous envoie un lien pour entrer dans l'appartement connecté, qui doit sois disant ouvrir la porte !!!! gros problème comme vous n'avez pas de réseau sa ne fonctionne pas; vous appeler la conciergerie, au près du de la quelle vous devez vous justifier en envoyant tous les documents de réservation, plus pièces d'identités et passeport!!!!!! rien que sa. au bout d'une très très longue heure d'attente il vous ouvre la porte a distance vous rentrez dans un belle appartement ou il fait très chaud 🥵 donc vous mettez la clim, défaite vos valises prenez vos marque dans l'appartement, comme il fait toujours chaud vous descendez acheter des bières et de l'eau bien fraiches au supermarché du coin a 200 mètre et la quand vous revenez la climatisation est éteinte !!!!! bref pendant tout le séjour vous êtes surveillés et il gère a distance l'appartement puisqu'il est connecté, bref nous ne recommandons pas du tout cette location qui est sous traité par Barcelona4seasons

Nice space- quiet neighborhood

Property was perfect size for my daughter and I. The neighborhood had everything you need but you will be traveling to other areas of the city for shopping and sites with exception of Sagrada Familia. Subway was close. The apartment was well equipped and we enjoyed having the deck. My only suggestions for improvement would be better mattresses and pillows and cooler AC.

Great apartment in central Barcelona

Mark was super helpful to work with; very communicative and even helped me order a taxi to the train station on my final day. The apartment is in central Barcelona so you can easily walk to La Sagrada, metro, Park Guell, and Paseo de Gracia (Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, etc). There are local cafes, shops and restaurants outside so you will not go hungry. The backyard was great to eat out in the morning while having breakfast or for breaks. My mom and I loved the space and would happily book it again.

Loved Barcelona

Agent met us in arrival and had arranged taxi for pick up and back to airport. Quiet neighborhood with groceries and small restaurants. We walked to Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell. $10 taxi to most places and safe,easy to find. Large patio weather permitting. Took train along coast to see friends. I had problem getting my card to pay ahead of time so Anne met us at check in to receive cc payment.

Bel appartement pour 4 à proximité de la Sagrada Familia

Appartement au premier étage avec ascenseur, très propre et bien aménagé. Grande terrasse. Parking payant à proximité. Convient à une famille de 4 personnes. Quelques couverts en plus seraient les bienvenus. Cuisine bien équipée avec petit lave-vaisselle. Sagrada Familia à 10 mn à pied, métro à 5 mn à pied. Commerces à proximité. Peu bruyant pour un appartement en ville.

Low Air Quality

I've booked this place for two weeks. After spending two nights, I've realized the air quality monitor inside the house (placed by the host) shows 250 in the mornings. I've contacted the host to tell them this is unbreathable air and I should be refunded or replaced with a better home (preferably with a breathable air). The host never believed or tried to understand the issue. They've kept asking for proof, and here it is, this is your proof: VRBO isn't letting me submit pictures here. I've stayed in over 10 vrbo's and this was by far the worst experience. They tried to convince me that the air quality is fine (you can check the images above). No refund, no help to find a replacement (although this host multiple homes she was still quite unwilling to help).
