However, on the first night we witnessed the restaurant staff have an absolute meltdown, it was embarrassing for all involved. The GM apologised and after that day everything was reasonably normal, however, there was an issue, and we never went back in the evenings. "Just returned from a weeks stay at the Namia by Dori Hotel, Bardalino. The hotel is in a perfect location opposite a local park, very quiet and peaceful yet only a couple of minutes walk to the lakeside, with plenty of restaurants etc to choose from on the way. The hotel was excellent with spacious bedroom and small sitting room complete with large tv in both. The room had tea and coffee making facilites with small fridge and secure safe. The reception staff were very pleasant, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable especially Giorgiana. Breakfast staff were pleasant, efficient and very helpful with any requests. We would definatly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking to stay in Bardalino."

Menu limited for lunch and dinner and did not vary but most guests seemed to go out. Not sure I’d return to Bardolino now I’ve visited it, but if I did, would happily return to this hotel."

"The hotel was excellent in every sense. As a 4* hotel it really did everything very well. From the staff at reception and attendants around the pool. The room was spacious and comfortable along with being very quiet. We only had breakfast and this was really good. The coffee bar was really good and the Italian coffees made properly and were really lovely. Location in Bardolino is perfect a really easy short walk to the centre of the town. Again the town is a really nice place to spend time wandering the street and shops with lots of great restaurants. On the day of leaving we had full use of the spa, showers and changing rooms with a locker. This was really helpful and a nice touch as we had late flights so were able to enjoy our day and get ready to leave. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would recommend a visit."
