"We needed a place to stay for 1 night. This place isn’t fancy but it’s clean, comfortable and the shower was hot. The staff is nice and friendly. We saw a bald eagle while eating breakfast! It is close to the road so there was a little traffic noise going by."

"This is a lovely country setting of this motel in central Cape Breton. A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Good size room. Comfortable bed. There is a restaurant/bar attached to the building which serves the guests and locals. Good food and atmosphere."

"Spotless, serene, and truly welcoming!We loved every minute of our weekend stay. The hosts made us feel right at home with their friendly, genuine warmth. You could tell how much care goes into maintaining the property—it was, without a doubt, one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. Combined with the peaceful beach ambiance and tranquil surroundings, it was a pure bliss retreat. Highly recommended!"

"Clean and attractively furnished. Terri is a very gracious hostess. It’s easy to find with gps but you wouldn’t want to try without, especially in the dark. It’s a little awkward cleaning the coffee maker and dishes in the bathroom sink, and the tv controls were too complicated for this old man to sort out."
