「Rooms very ordinary in ugly building, food good, nowhere to sit comfortably by a fire after dinner. No drawing room, only the bar or a sofa in a hallway. There was a fireplace but no fire. Disappointing communal spaces. The staff friendly and the food was good.」

I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con.
