「A very warm welcome from Caroline to a beautiful house overlooking the surrounding countryside and near the church. Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room (plus bonus cake - always welcome!) and a great breakfast selection. It was particularly nice to have the option of pancakes in addition to the usual full English or cereals, pastry and yoghurt. Walking distance to Innstow restaurants.」

「A warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Had a first class room in the old house. Could not have wished for more. The restaurant offered great food including local seafood and excellent steaks. All sensibly priced. This in one hotel we shall be recommending to friends and returning ourselves. Faultless.」

「Very comfortable bed and all staff most helpful, Hotel could do with an update including air conditioning a must if our summers are going to continue to get hotter and of course air conditioning can also be used as heating in the winter instead of out dated gas boilers.」

「As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants. One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix. Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park...

「Lovely property and friendly hosts. Listing on Hotels.com doesn't state number of dogs allowed, which is actually only one, but host was very understanding and accommodated us and our pets. Well located for exploring the North Devon coastal region, Bideford is lovely and we also had a great day at Westward Ho! Hot tub at the house was most welcome in the evening after a long day exploring the coastal path.」
