However, the staff didn't tell us and did not answer the phone, when the shuttle is arrived. So we missed the shuttle and the outside temperature is over 35 degree , so we have to find our way back to the car park.」

「We loved Il Casale. The room was gorgeous , a glowing cave room that felt lux, and the service was top notch. We were treated to a helpful survey of the town to help us the get the most from our time there; restaurant tips (no tourist traps); and a delicious breakfast from a nearby bakery. Even more helpful, we were able to park our car at a secure residential lot outside the city and get a private ride to/from the old town. Highly recommend.」

"The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance."
