「We had a lovely 2-night stay at Manawa on Kawaha this February. Even with the overcast weather, the views were great. Our contact at InnList was very responsive to all of our inquiries. We were surprised to find out that air conditioning is only available on the lower level. Fortunately, this wasn't an issue since the temperature drops significantly in the evenings, so we were always comfortable upstairs. The kitchen has most supplies you will need. understaffed and needs update
"stayed here for two nights. lake view is nice but that's about it. the insulation is bad. fortunately neighbors' conversation was muffled and intelligible. every time a neighboring door closes it sounds like someone's slamming the door. one lamp cover in the bathroom actually overheated and cracked when i was away briefly. glass splinters scattered the bathroom sink area and a big piece landed on the floor. luckily i was not using the sink when it happened. the spa and sauna was available but both not idea. the sauna door was difficult to open and close, meaning it's often left open and never gets hot enough. one hot tub's jet system was left on for the whole night as i turned it off early in the morning. meaning no staff checked the area after they closed it off the previous night. the experience didn't meet the expectation."
