「This was our favorite hotel during our 8 night trip to Europe. We stayed 2 nights. The staff couldn't have treated us any better. We mentioned a gluten allergy at checkin and they had multiple bread options available at breakfast. They were also helpful when we asked for recommendations. The hotel is well maintained and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops.」

「Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house. Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors. Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing. 「Villa Lara was exceptional in all categories above!! If you are spending time in Normandy or Bayeaux, hands down this is the only place to stay. Don’t even consider another hotel. The location is awesome. The rooms were very comfortable, updated and clean. The hotel staff especially Julian were outstanding. 「Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet établissement. L'hotel a été rénové récemment et est très bien placé. A noter qu'il n'y a pas de salle de bains séparée et que pour les chambres à deux il vaut mieux bien se connaitre :)」
