"The room was really nice. The place was very clean and the pool area was nice. There is a lot of construction in the area but that wasn’t a huge deterrent for me. Parking also isn’t great if you have a rental car. Should be fine if you’re Ubering "

"AWFUL!!!! Franny at front desk was kind. Liz and Claudia were rude and down right mean!! Refused to call Frederico the hotel manager, stated “he’s in a meeting.” Waited in cramped lobby with many others for 5 hours for room to be ready. After 5 hours, 3 United Airlines employees came in and received their rooms immediately. 5 different families approached the front desk and ONLY THEN our rooms were ready. Room was hot and stuffy!! Room phone did not work. Mattress was lumpy. Walls are paper thin!! TV kept going in and out. Notified Claudia and NOTHING was fixed. WORST hotel stay ever!!!!"

"The views from the room were spectacular, loved how it is right next to everything. Didn’t need to take my car out of valet, the front desk was so sweet and kind. Didn’t get to really try anything food wise would love if there was more of a verity of food within the property. I was able to try a drink an espresso martini which was fantastic. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are someone who loves doing things out in Miami."

"Countertop in the room was dirty – especially under the coffee machine. There were stains on the counter. The clocks in the room were wrong and could not be reset. The coffee machine did not work. When I arrived, the refrigerator was not on probably due to a power outage. The television screen was not working properly. I did not complain because I was only staying one night for a concert– and it wasn’t worth the time because the front desk was busy and so was I! The last time I stayed at this hotel it was wonderful. So I was a bit disappointed."

"If you are a solo traveler and just need a place to lay your head this may be a suitable place. The room is a small box and if you have a companion you will come to know them more intimately than you would expect. The bathroom and shower are literally part of the living quarters and only separated by a frosted glass door (ours door did not shut). They promote the ability to “cast” to their smart TV’s but our was broke and attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. There is no place to sit besides the toilet or bed. The rooftop pool doesn’t get much sun because there is a rooftop over it. The complimentary breakfast was good and the croissants were fresh and delicious. Don’t get excited about the “2 free drinks” - there are no options, only what they decide to offer. YOTEL is located conveniently to the bayside market place where there is ample sun and seating options."
