Excellent stay! Everything was great, including the room, cleanliness, amenities, and overall service. The staff were especially excellent—very friendly, helpful, professional, and welcoming. The hotel was comfortable and well maintained, and the service was worth the price. I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owner Duncan is a lovely host, made us very welcome and cooked us a great meal the night we stayed. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was ok but needs upgrading. The bath had a shower head but no screen so we couldn’t have a proper shower. There was also a large collection of hair on the bathroom floor. The hotel itself is charming with lots of personal touches and you could spend hours just looking round. We really did enjoy our stay but think it only fair share our views. Would we return - yes we would!

The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating was the lack of hot water in the shower in the morning. There is also a bar and residents lounge, for relaxing, on site.

Service and Meals were excellent. Bar options and wine would rival any high end restaurant. Duncan has become our new favorite host. Additionally, he has an extensive library with books covering all topics of interest. Brochures are available of interesting places to visit as well. Room and bathroom are a bit dated, but clean and with expected amenities. We highly recommend the Cnoc hotel and restaurant!
